1. BOOKING TRANSPARENCY CHARTER
Ride and Fire is committed to providing a premium and rider-centric motorcycle rental experience across some of the world's most challenging high-altitude terrains. Our daily rental Returns and Cancellation Policy is designed to offer maximum flexibility and peace of mind while balancing the operational requirements of maintaining a high-performance fleet in remote regions. By booking a daily rental with rideandfire.in, riders agree to these terms, which are tailored to accommodate the unique challenges of high-altitude adventure travel.
2. 48-HOUR FREE CANCELLATION
For maximum flexibility, we offer a free cancellation policy for all daily motorcycle rentals. Riders who cancel their booking up to forty-eight hours before the scheduled rental pickup time are entitled to a full one hundred percent refund of their booking fee. We do not charge any cancellation fees or administration penalties for bookings cancelled within this window. Once a cancellation request is submitted and approved, the refund will be processed and credited back to the rider's original payment method within five to seven business days. Please note that cancellations made less than forty-eight hours prior to the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable, as the vehicle will have already been reserved and prepared for your exclusive use.
3. PRORATED HEALTH & AMS REFUNDS
We understand that riding at extreme altitudes in regions like Ladakh and Spiti presents serious physiological challenges, including acute mountain sickness and altitude acclimatization difficulties. If a rider experiences health issues and is unable to continue their journey, Ride and Fire provides a compassionate early return policy. In such events, riders are eligible for a partial, prorated refund for the unused days of their rental agreement. To qualify for this prorated refund, the health condition must be verified locally. Verification can be completed by providing a medical certificate or consultation slip from a registered local clinic or hospital, or through direct physical verification by a Ride and Fire station representative at the time of the early motorcycle return. Upon verification, the refund for the remaining unused days will be calculated and processed back to the original payment source within our standard five to seven business day window.
4. SECURITY DEPOSIT-FREE TERMS
To ensure a seamless and premium rental experience, Ride and Fire operates under a zero security deposit policy. We do not require riders to pay a cash security deposit or place a high-value cash hold on their credit cards upfront. Instead, the zero security deposit operates on locked contractual terms. Before the vehicle is handed over, the rider's liability is contractually locked using a digital pre-authorization or a signed liability agreement. This locked term guarantees that while you enjoy the financial freedom of paying no upfront deposit, you remain legally and contractually responsible for the cost of any physical damage, traffic violations, or equipment losses incurred during the rental period up to the replacement value of the motorcycle.
