1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that motorcycling in the Himalayas involves inherent risks beyond the control of the Operator. These include, but are not limited to:
- Rough, unpaved, or landslide-prone roads.
- Extreme altitude (AMS) and unpredictable weather.
- Presence of livestock or wildlife on roads.
- Remote areas with limited or delayed medical facilities (6+ hours to a hospital).
I voluntarily assume all such risks and participate at my own will.
2. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Ride and Fire, its owners, road captains, and employees from any liability for bodily injury, death, emotional distress, or property damage arising from my participation, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
3. Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Ride and Fire staff to administer first aid or secure emergency medical evacuation (helicopter/ambulance) on my behalf. I agree to bear all costs associated with such medical services and evacuation.
4. Pillion Responsibility
If I am carrying a pillion rider, I accept full responsibility for their safety. Ride and Fire is not liable for injuries to the pillion caused by my riding errors.
