We understand that life happens. However, operating high-altitude expeditions requires significant prepaid logistics (permits, hotels, bike fleets). Our cancellation policy reflects these unrecoverable costs.
1. Cancellation by The Participant
If you cancel your booking, the following refund tiers apply to the Total Tour Cost:
| Time Before Departure | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| 60+ Days | Loss of Deposit Only |
| 30 – 59 Days | 50% Refund |
| 15 – 29 Days | 25% Refund |
| 0 – 14 Days | 0% Refund (Non-refundable) |
2. Cancellation by The Operator
If Ride and Fire cancels the tour due to not reaching minimum numbers (e.g., fewer than 4 riders), you are entitled to:
- A Full Refund of all monies paid to us.
- OR Transfer to a future date (Client’s choice).
Note: We are not responsible for your flight tickets or visa fees.
3. Force Majeure (The “Credit Note” System)
If the tour is cancelled due to Force Majeure (Pandemic, Civil Unrest, Natural Disaster), cash refunds are not possible. Instead, we will issue a Future Travel Credit (FTC) for the full value of your booking, valid for 24 months.
